Card - Pink, Cream & Grey
Created for another online challenge. This time at Addicted To Stamps where the theme is pink, cream and grey. This card uses cream linen cardstock for the base. I took a second piece of the same cardstock and sponged this with Victorian Velvet Distress ink, then stamped over it with a floral lace stamp, and then a text stamp (also in victorian Velvet). Next I stamped the flowers (Tim Holtz) using London Fog Memento Ink. I added some cream seam binding and grey embroidery floss at the base of the card, and stamped a sentiment (Studio G) underneath it.
Card - Copic Butterfly
Created on Ivory cardstock with embossed layers using Couture Creations "Intrinsic" folder. The butterfly is from an old Stampin' Up set, and was coloured using Copics in various Yellows, Oranges & Reds. The sentiment stamp is from a Hero Arts set. This card is for the "Anything Goes" challenge over at CopicMarkerNorge

Watercolour Card - Purrfect...
Very simple card using Distress Markers in Frayed Burlap & Spun Sugar on Fabriano watercolour paper. Created for the "Less Is More" Challenge where the theme is Cats &/ or Dogs. The cat stamp is by Artemio. The text stamp by Technique Tuesday. Mounted onto Bazzill Cardstock in Bark Colour.
ATC - Shells
Created for the TMTA Challenge where the theme this week is shells. I used a background paper that I created with glimmer mists some time ago, and paired it with a digital print I had of a shell image. I stamped over the background with a text stamp, then embellished the ATC with bits and pieces that looked sea related.
Card - Sunflower
I'm trying to make more use of my embossing folders and dies at the moment. This card uses both. The sunflower was cut using dies meant for making a daisy - I think they are by xcut, but not 100% sure. I cut the flowers from handmade mulberry paper and sprayed them with Glimmer Mist (Sunflower). The centre of the sunflower is from a really old Quickutz die, which was also sprayed with Glimmer Mist (Tattered Leather). The stem and petal were cut off a Memory Box flower die. The embossing folder is by Darice, and the stamp in the background is an old Stampin' Up definitions one which is now retired. The seam binding is from Wild Orchid Crafts, this was coloured with Walnut Stain Distress ink.

Card - Vintage Whimsy
This card was made to use up scraps for a challenge over at Sugar Creek Hollow which is a site I have just discovered. The base of the card was Stampin' Up (one of the brown colours from the neutrals pack). I then layered a piece of ivory card over this, followed by a scrap piece of Polka dot paper (Prima) from my scrap box. The image is by Paper Whimsy which also needed using up. This was cut out, distressed & edged with Walnut Distress Ink. The Prima paper had the same distressing treatment, plus a little ink applied randomly over the centre too.
The border is a Die-namics die (Scallop Ribbon) cut in the same Stampin' Up brown card stock as the base. Pearls were added to embellish it from Wild Orchid Crafts. The flowers are hand made ones that also needed using up, and I added a couple of feathers to fill in the gaps.

Postcard - Sew
Created for the Sunday Postcard Challenge where the theme this week is Buttons & Bows. The postcard started out as a piece of Taffeta Smooth white cardstock (from Craft Creations). The background was created using Victorian Velvet Distress ink (wrinkle free distress technique), and Frayed Burlap (sponged around the edges. I stamped over this with a buttons background by Traci Bunkers in Victorian Velvet, and then another button stamp in frayed burlap. The button card and bobbin stamps are from Stamp Galaxy (very generously gifted to me by Kay). I stamped these in the same distress inks, and cut them out. I added tiny buttons to the button card, which were first painted with Distress Paint to match everything else, and added some DMC embroidery Floss to the bobbin card. Finally, I added my bow at the top of the button card using cream seam binding (Wild Orchid Crafts), which was sponged with Victorian Velvet, stamped the "Sew" definition in StazOn Timber brown, and adhered the sewing machine charm.

Card - Drift Flowers
Created using Kraft & Ivory Cardstock. I used one of my new embossing folders with the Ivory card. The main image is called Drift Flowers (produced by Memory Box). This was heat embossed in white, then a tiny amount of yellow liquid pearls added to the heads of the flowers. The text stamp in the background is an old Stampin'Up one.
Card - Distressed heart
Inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest. I used Distress ink (Walnut stain) for the background, then stamped over it with a script stamp. The little heart is from a Woodware punch, and I added a pearl then tied some twine around it.
